おばあちゃんのシンビジューム/Grandma's Cymbidium

もう数十年前に亡くなった、夫の祖母が育てていた

シンビジュームがあります。ベランダの隅で小さいプラスチックの鉢に

入れられて根が鉢を割っていました。

大きな鉢に移し替えたところ、みるみるうちに成長して、

たくさんの花を咲かせます。

This cymbidium was taken care of my partner's grandmother. 

She passed away long time ago, but the plant was quietly growing

in the corner of the balcony. It seemed very cramped in a very tiny pot

when I found it. So we have placed in a bigger pot when 

we renovated the apartment, the plant started grow rapidly once again. 

だんだんと愛着がわいてきます。

花が柔らかいらしく、放っておくと鳥に食べられてしまいます。

I was not into cymbidium, but I like this one. 

これもかなり昔からあるサザンカ。

今年は発色のよい花を沢山つけています。

Sasanqua has a lot of flowers this winter. 

This plant is also very old one that had been taken care of by my partner's mother.
