ハンギングフラワーを色で選ぶ/Selecting flowers by color.

寄せ植え、ハンギングなど、土の少ない場所に沢山植える場合、

向き、不向きの花があります。

Hanging pot has varieties of flowers with limited soil, 

so we need to consider the selection of flowers. 

一番いいのは、直感や気分で選んで試行錯誤植育ててみることですが、

長持ちする「色」で選ぶのも一つのやり方です。

One way of choosing a flower is a selection by color. 

一番綺麗にもつ花色

The flower whose color lasts longest is...

 やはり、色素の薄い「白」が一番きれいな状態を保ちます。

冬の寄せ植えのビオラも、シクラメンも

色素を作る労力を必要としない分、栄養が保たれるからでしょうか。

It's white. It doesn't need to produce pigment, 

the flower lasts long with clean color. That's my guess. 

二番目に長持ちする花色

The second one is... 

 黄色です。割と色素が落ちないまま

長期間発色よく咲く場合が多いです。

It's yellow. Its vivid color tends to last

throughout the season. 

三番目は、

The third one is...

紫です。しばらくは綺麗に咲かせますが、

花の終わりの季節には、

色落ちしたものを咲かせます。

It's purple. The flowers bloom with vivid color for a white, 

but the color seems to be faded in the end of the season. 

最後に、

Lastly...

ピンク色の花のご機嫌を取るのは難しく、

育つ環境もパーフェクトを望む、お嬢様です。

短期間での色あせが目立ちます。

一番華やかできれいなんですけどね。

Pink seems to be the hardest one to keep the bright color. 

It starts to lose the color in quite short time.
